This vegan dessert is amazing! The chocolate avocado icing is not only a raw vegan dessert but also a sugar-free vegan treat! The chocolate cupcakes are made with spelt flour just perfect for this healthy vegan dessert!

Chocolate Avocado Icing:

3 ripened Avocado

3/4  cup agave

3/4  cup cocoa powder

3 tbs coconut oil

1 tsp vanilla

a dash of salt


Chocolate Cupcakes:

1 cup coconut milk

½ cup olive oil

1 ½ tsp apple cider vinegar

1 tsp vanilla flavor

1 ¼ cup spelt flour

½ cup cocoa powder

¾ cup sugar

¾ tsp baking soda

½ tsp baking powder

¼ tsp salt


For the icing

  1. Cream the avocado together
  2. Add all of the other ingredients for the icing and blend until well combined

For the cupcakes

  1. Heat oven to 325 F.
  2. Add all the dry ingredients and mix well
  3. Add all the wet ingredients and mix well
  4. dd the dry and wet ingredients and mix until well combined
  5. Fill cupcake pan about ¾ way full should make 12 cupcakes
  6. Bake for 20 -25 min depending on oven
